Mass For Those Living With Cancer
Mass will be celebrated on the second Monday of the month (for May ONLY) – Monday, May 14^th, 7pm, at St. Pius X, 316 Somerset Street. Mass will be offered for the intention of people living with cancer and for their families and friends. The Sacrament of Anointing will take place following Mass for those who request it.

Concert
Forest Hills Baptist Church, Mountain Road, will be holding a concert featuring Sean Dayton on Wednesday, May 16^th, at 7pm. Cost: Free will offering. Proceeds going to Food For The Hungry.

Adult Catechesis
St. Joachim’s Parish Centre, 603 Loch Lomond Road, Thursday, May 17^th, at 7pm. This week – “Atheists and New Agers” (Week 2). It is not necessary to have attended any of the previous weeks in order to participate.

Sale
Silver Falls United, Loch Lomond Road, will holding their annual Plant, Bake, Book & Bling Sale on Saturday, May 19^th from 9am – 1pm. Perennials, annuals, herbs, home baked goods, books and new/used jewelry will be available. Sale will be indoors.

Anniversary
St. Ann’s, Simpson Drive, will be hosting a reception on the occasion of the 30^th Anniversary of Fr. Paul Riley’s Ordination to the Priesthood on Sunday, May 20^th, at 11am. Best wishes only.

Yard Sale
St. Pius X, 316 Somerset Street, will be holding their annual Victoria Day Yard Sale on Monday, May 21^st from 9am – noon.

Evening Prayer
All are welcome at St. Alphonsus, Church Street, Hampton on Tuesday, May 22^nd at 7pm.

Cards
Friday Night Cards at St. Pius X, Somerset Street, will be held Friday, May 25^th beginning at 7:30 pm. Cost: $3/person. There will be a 50/50 Draw, and a light lunch will be served. This will be the last game until September.

Fundraiser
The Park Avenue Fiddlers and Friends will be entertaining at St. Ann’s, Simpson Drive, on Friday, May 25^th, from 7:30 – 9:30pm. Cost: Free will offering at the door. Proceeds are for new doors for the church. Free refreshments will be available during the break.

Casino Night And Gift Auction
St. Peter’s will be hosting the evening on Saturday, May 26^th from 7 – 9pm. Tickets are $20, and are available at The St. Peter’s office. There will be an auction at the end of the evening, and a High Roller table ($100/seat) will be available.

Cards
Stella Maris, Bayside Drive, will be hosting Keep Your Partner 45’s on Saturday, May 26^th, 7:30pm. Doors open at 7pm, cost is $5 with a light lunch. Come along and bring a friend.

Flea Market
St. Ann’s, Simpson Drive, will be holding their Annual Parish Flea Market on Saturday, June 2^nd, from 8am – 1pm. Contact the parish office (653-6870) for more information.

St. John the Baptist, Broad Street, will be hosting a Summer Roast Pork Dinner with Apple Sauce and Trimmings on Sunday, June 3^rd, from 4 – 5pm, with take-out from 5 – 5:30pm. Tickets: Adults $10; Children $5, and are available by calling Maureen (633-0391).

Plant Sale
Symphony New Brunswick will be holding their annual sale at St. Paul’s Church on the Rothesay Common, on Saturday, June 9^th from 9am – noon. There will be a large selection of perennials and shrubs. They will also accept donations of plants on Friday, June 8th at St. Paul’s Church Hall between 6 – 8pm. For more information, call 693-6819.

Jam Session
Monday Night Country and Blue Grass Jam held at Stella Maris Church, Bayside Drive. Doors open at 5:30pm, music begins at 7pm. There is a $2 charitable donation to help defray heating costs. Zumba For Seniors
Saint Joachim’s holds Zumba Gold classes in the parish hall every Tuesday at 10am. Zumba Gold modifies the pace and the moves of regular Zumba classes making them easier for older or less active participants. Just like the nighttime classes, Zumba Gold is only $5 per person. If you haven’t tried Zumba yet because you thought you might not be able to keep up, this is your chance to get in on the fun! Call Marie (696-8169) for more information.
