Building upon last year’s ecumenical initiative between area churches, all members of the Christian Churches in the North End of Saint John are invited to join together for our Second Annual Ecumenical Advent Carol and Candlelight Service. In a spirit of love and unity, everyone is invited to join their brothers and sisters from other faith communities during this important time of preparation for Christmas on Friday, December 6^th, 7pm, at Holy Trinity. A reception will follow in the parish center.

Please note that there will be no Noon Mass celebrated on Tuesday, December 10^th. Mass will instead be celebrated at 5:30pm.

Again this year we are asking for your assistance as we decorate Holy Trinity for Christmas. We encourage you to make a donation towards our Christmas flowers in memory of a loved one. Simply write the name(s) of those you would like to remember on the outside of an envelope and drop it in the collection. Deadline for submission of names is Sunday, December 15^th. Please also indicate that the envelope is for “Flowers”, and include your envelope number. The names of all those being honored will be included in our Christmas bulletin.

Each year, as Christmas approaches, people think of family members and friends who have died. Many have found our Memorial Tree to be a helpful way of remembering and dealing with feelings of loss during an otherwise happy time. If this is helpful for you, you are invited to print the names(s) of deceased relatives and friends on the outside of an envelope and mark it “Memorial Tree”. These names will be placed on ornaments prepared and decorated by the children in our Religious Education Program and the ornaments will be placed on the Tree. While you may also use the same envelope to make a voluntary donation to our Building Fund, a donation is not required. Deadline for submission of names is Sunday, December 15^th.
