It is with a deep sense of pride and satisfaction that I announce to you the results of the special collection, which took place throughout our Diocese on May 16 – 17 in support of the victims of the Nepal Earthquake.

The total amount that we forwarded to Development and Peace amounted to $60,289.90 and the Federal government will match our donation.

As the Bishop of the Diocese of Saint John, I thank you sincerely for this outstanding spirit of generosity to our sisters and brothers in Nepal.

We are looking for donations of gently used items for the Silent Auction and New to You table at the Father’s Day Brunch. If anyone has items they would like to donate, please contact Terry Lee Martin (333-8944) or Beth Fry (696-1516).

Everyone is invited on Sunday, June 21^st. Brunch begins immediately following 9:30am Mass and goes until 1pm. Menu: Bacon, Sausage, Eggs, Hash browns, Toast, Beans, Fruit, Juice, Tea & Coffee. Cost: Free will offering. There will be a Silent Auction for male Cuban treasures and male gifts, as well as a White Elephant/New To You Sale. Proceeds are going towards the Holy Trinity Building Fund.

There will be no Monday afternoon Card Party at Holy Trinity on May 25^th. Cards resume the following Monday, June 1^st.

The next Holy Trinity Parish Renewal Committee meeting will be on Wednesday, May 20^th, 7pm, in the parish Family Center. Any other parishioners who are interested in helping the committee members are welcome to attend.

There will be no Noon Mass at Holy Trinity on Tuesday, May 19^th due to a funeral at Saint Joachim’s.

The closing dinner of the year for the Holy Trinity CWL will take place on Thursday, May 28^th. Members will meet at Holy Trinity for Mass at 5pm and then travel to the Mediterranean Restaurant for dinner. Members will be contacted in advance.
