On Sunday, March 18th, a liturgy of blessing and enrollment for the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel will take place following the 12:30pm Mass at Holy Trinity. Wearing the Brown Scapular is a popular pious act done many Catholics as an act of devotion to Our Lady. This liturgy is for those who already wear the Scapular who have not been enrolled and for those who are new to the devotion. For more information please see Father Peter.
Didn’t make it to confession on Thursday due to the storm? No problem. Holy Trinity has confessions every Friday at 5pm during Lent. You can also stay for Way of the Cross at 6pm.
Holy Trinity will be hosting a mini-retreat on Friday, March 23rd. Topic: Making a Good Fast. Come and learn about the Church’s teaching on the theology and history of fasting as a spiritual discipline and powerful means of prayer. Prepare your hearts, minds, and spirits for making the most of the Good Friday Fast. Retreat begins at 5pm with Reconciliation and Adoration; Stations of the Cross at 6pm; and at 6:45pm there will be a recorded talk on fasting by Fr. Trevor Nathasingh, followed by small group discussion.
Since the weather has improved, there will be RCIA tonight (March 8) at Holy Trinity.
Due to the road conditions today (March 8), Confessions this morning and Mass at noon have been cancelled.
A decision on RCIA this evening will be made mid-afternoon.
