Some PAD questions that we have received:

How often do I give?
It is up to you. You can continue to contribute on a weekly basis, or you can have your donations made every two weeks or even once a month.

Will I still get a tax receipt if I’m not using envelopes?
Absolutely – every month the bank will send us a list of who has donated and those names and amounts will be entered into our computer with the rest of the envelope users, and at the end of the year, you will get a tax receipt.

PAD is for regular Sunday envelopes, but what about all those special collections we have throughout the year?
Special collections are not included in PAD. PAD users will be given a tiny box of envelopes at the beginning of each year with the envelopes for just the special collections so PAD users may still contribute to those collections if they wish.

Won’t I look like a cheapskate when the collection basket comes around and I don’t throw anything in?
There will be cards available at the entrance of the church for PAD users are able to put in the collection each week if they feel uncomfortable about no longer dropping in an envelope.
