Lighthouse CDs
Would you like to learn more about your Catholic faith but don’t have time to read a lot of books? If so, we have an exciting program staring here at our parish. In the back of church you will see a display offering inspiring and educational Catholic CDs. These CDs include explanations of our Catholic Faith, accounts of God’s incredible mercy in the personal lives of Catholics, and practical information for living your faith.
These CDs are especially effective for those who would like to learn more about Christ and their faith, but have little time to study. Listen as your drive, or even as you exercise. Being a faithful Catholic is not easy in today’s world, but these interesting and informative CDs, by some of the most inspiring Catholic speakers of our time, will show you why it’s the best thing going. The $5 recommended donations are gratefully appreciated and needed to make new titles available in the future.
The response from parishioners last weekend was tremendous. We distributed more CDs than anticipated. As you can see from the list at the entrance of the church, there are many more titles available than those in the display stand. If there are any titles on the list that you feel you may be interested in, please let us know so that we can include them in our next order.
PAD – Pre-Authorized Debit
As mentioned last weekend, we are exploring the possibility of introducing pre-authorized debit donations as an alternative to Sunday envelopes. In order to offer this service to parishioners we first have to gauge the level of interest. This system has proven to be very popular in other parishes where it has been introduced. If you feel you would be interested, or would like more information, please contact the office (653-6838 or email).
