There are sign-up sheets at the back of the church. Please check off which Masses you plan on attending so that Cindy can complete the Christmas Ministry Schedule. We ask that you please check off your name before Saturday, November 27th.

2011 Ministry Schedule
Cindy is about to begin working on the Ministry Schedule for January, February & March. If you know that you will be unavailable at any time during those months, please contact Cindy (633-5895 or doylewil@rogers.com) before December 4th.
Sunday Envelopes
Our 2011 Sunday Envelopes will be available beginning next weekend, November 20th/21st. As always, we ask that you please take a look to make sure that your address is correct on the label, as that is the same address we will be using to mail out your tax receipts in January.
This year we have made changes to some of the envelope numbers (mostly higher ones), meaning some parishioners will not have the same envelope number in 2011 as they did for 2010. These changes will not take effect until January, so please continue to use your current envelopes and envelope number until the end of the year.

Parking Lot
For many years parishioners at Holy Trinity have routinely double-parked in the parking lot on Rockland Road; it was never an issue since everyone was leaving church at the same time. As you are aware, the former Holy Trinity School was sold, and our new neighbours sometimes have events that are held around the same times as our Masses. On many occasions, not all of the cars in the parking lot will belong to fellow parishioners, and often the owners of those cars will want to leave before our Mass ends. In an effort to be good neighbours, we ask that when you use the parking lot, that you please do not block in other cars. Our neighbours have gone out of their way to work with us on parking issues, and we would like to return the favour.
Remembrance Day
On Thursday, November 11th, there will be no noon Mass. Instead, Mass will be celebrated at 9am so that parishioners may attend the Remembrance Day ceremony at Harbour Station.
Parish Mission
We want to remind you again that Mission 2010 takes place at Holy Trinity, from Monday, November 1st – Thursday, November 4th inclusive, at 7pm with mission priest Father George Gilliland from PEI. Everyone is welcome, and copies of Fr. Gilliland’s book, My Two Cents, will also be available.
Please note that there will be a couple of changes to our Mass times this week as a result of the mission. There will be a noon Mass on Wednesday, and Mass on Thursday will be celebrated at 7pm – there will be no noon Mass on that day.

Remembrance Candle Ceremony
Throughout the year we are always encouraged to pray for the souls in Purgatory in need of purification, healing and wholeness before entering God’s presence. The tradition of our Church is to remember the holy souls in Purgatory especially during the month of November. Next weekend (November 6th & 7th) in a special Remembrance Candle-lighting Ceremony, everyone will have an opportunity to come forward during Mass to light a candle in memory of the members of their family who have passed on and are presently with God or still on their way to being united with our heavenly Father. It will also be an opportunity to remember those who so courageously and selflessly gave their lives in war so that we may live. May they and all the departed souls, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
The Book Of Remembrance
The book will be located at the front of the Church beginning on Monday, November 1st. You are invited to write in the names of your relatives and friends who have died. Your loved ones will be remembered by our Parish during the month of November.
