The next meeting is on Tuesday, September 7th at 7:30pm in the Family Centre.
The phone in the kitchen has been repaired. We’d like to apologize again for any inconvenience the lack of a phone caused over the past couple of weeks. We also expect the Family Centre door to be repaired early next week.
Thanks to all who assisted in making Fr. Doucet’s goodbye party a success last weekend. As always, your hard work was appreciated.
Next weekend we will be taking up a special collection to assist those affected by the flooding in Pakistan. All money collected next weekend will be matched by the Federal Government. We hope that you will be as generous with this crisis as you were with Haiti last year.
We have taken spare Sunday envelopes (#’s 83 & 93) and placed them at the entrance of the church. We encourage you to take one home with you and use it next weekend for this collection. You may also use one of our Building Fund envelopes – simply write Pakistan on it.
Please remember to add either you name or envelope number to the outside of the envelope so that we can issue a tax receipt to you at the end of the year.
This week’s bulletin will be delayed until late Friday due to a couple of late announcements.
Now you can get updates via Facebook. While you are there, please do us a favor and click on the “Like” button at the top of the page.
This weekend, Fr. Doucet (and his crutches) will return to celebrate his final two Masses at Holy Trinity. We invite you to join us in the Family Centre after Mass on Sunday as we thank him for his two years of service to the parish and wish him well in his new assignment.

We would like to remind you that all are invited to the Mass being celebrated by Bishop Robert Harris on Sunday, August 22nd, 2pm, at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. The Diocese has asked us to point out that the date published in last weekend’s New Freeman was wrong. The letter distributed with our bulletin last weekend had the correct date.
