Stella and Dee Dee are beginning to collect names for our next game. The game will begin during November, and they will announce an exact start date soon.

Registration for Christmas Baskets will be held on Friday, November 6^th from 10am – 2pm in the Family Center, located at 11 Canon Street. Medicare Cards are required. Only families living in the area of Holy Trinity will be eligible to receive Baskets from us. Families outside of our immediate area should go to the church closest to them to register for assistance. Christmas Baskets will be distributed on Monday, December 21^st, from 12:30 – 2pm. This coming weekend we are asking you to bring in Canned Vegetables.

Cindy Doyle is about to start preparing the ministry schedule for Christmas and New Year’s. The Mass schedule during the Christmas season will be as follows:

We realize, especially at Christmas, many people have a long tradition of attending Mass at a particular time. Bearing this in mind, we would like to give all ministers the opportunity to help Cindy come up with a document that accommodates everyone. For your convenience, Cindy has prepared sign-up sheets that will be available at the entrance of the church until November 20^th. Please take a moment to check off which Mass you plan to attend so that she is able to schedule you at a time suitable for you.

Schedules for November and December are now available in the vestry before and after Mass.

During the month of October the CWL is involved with the White Ribbon Against Pornography Campaign. This involves having a white ribbon as well as a petition signed. These will then be delivered to our Member of Parliament. The petition and the ribbon will be at the back of the Church on Saturday, October 17^th and Sunday, October 18^th.

It has come to our attention that not everyone realizes that we are required to offer one Mass on the weekend “For the Parish”. These aren’t “fillers” because we didn’t get two intentions for the weekend; we’re just following the rules. As a result, we really only have 52 weekend Mass intentions available throughout the year; which is why you are encouraged to book Masses well in advance. For those interested, the next weekend Masses still available to be booked are in June.
