Building upon the ecumenical initiative of the last two years between Holy Trinity Church and St. Luke’s Anglican Church, our two pastors have invited all of the Christian Churches in the North End of Saint John to join them for an Ecumenical Advent Carol and Candlelight Service. In a spirit of love and unity, everyone is invited to join their brothers and sisters from other faith communities during this important time of preparation for Christmas on Friday, December 7th, 7pm, at St. Peter’s Church on Clarendon Street. Reception to follow in the parish center.

Each year, as Christmas approaches, people think of family members and friends who have died. Many have found our Memorial Tree to be a helpful way of remembering and dealing with feelings of loss during an otherwise happy time. If this is helpful for you, you are invited to print the names(s) of deceased relatives and friends on an envelope and mark it “Memorial Tree”. These names will be placed on ornaments prepared and decorated by the children in our Religious Education Program and the ornaments will be placed on the Tree. While you may also use the same envelope to make a voluntary donation to our Building Fund, a donation is not required. Deadline for submission of names is Sunday, December 16th.
White Ribbons Against Pornography (WRAP) is part of an international education effort to raise awareness about pornography and its corrupting effects on society. Registrations for the Empty Stocking Fund will take place on Thursday, November 15th from 10am – 11am (one hour only) in the Family Center. Please bring Medicare cards for all children and yourself.
