Stella and Dee Dee are collecting again for our 649 Draw. The next draw starts on Saturday, October 8^th, with a cutoff date to submit your numbers of Saturday, October 1^st. Stella will be at the back of the church after each weekend Mass to collect your $10, or you can call her (652-2565) for more information, or to submit your numbers.

The next meeting of the Holy Trinity Liturgy Committee will be on Wednesday, September 7^th.

The monthly First Friday Holy Hour will take place at St. Joachim’s on Friday, September 2^nd from 11am – 12:30pm. The Holy Hour begins at 11am and will consist of exposition, adoration, and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament; concluding with 12 noon Mass.

The Mass for Veronica Frigault, originally scheduled for August 25^th, has been re-scheduled for Thursday, December 1^st.

Cindy Doyle will soon be preparing the Ministry Schedule for the months of October – December. If you know that you will be unavailable at any point during those months, please let her know by Sunday, September 11^th. Cindy can be contacted by phone (633-5895) or email (doylewil@rogers.com).

Next weekend we encourage you to bring in a non-perishable food item and leave it at the entrance of the church. All donations will be taken to the Charlotte Street Food Bank.

Next weekend, August 13/14, there will be a special collection taken up for Africa, which is suffering through the worst drought in 60 years. It is estimated that nearly 11 million people in Kenya, Ethiopia and Somalia are in need of food, water and medical care. Donations will be forwarded to Development and Peace, which has an organization in place that will ensure that your donations get to those in need. The Government of Canada has pledged to match all monies raised through this collection. You will find special envelopes attached to this bulletin and more will be available at the entrance of the church next weekend.

There will be no weekday Masses celebrated at Holy Trinity during the first three weeks in August. Weekday Mass resumes on Tuesday, August 23^rd.
