Office Hours

The parish office will be closed from Monday, July 25th – Wednesday, July 27th. In the event of an emergency, you may leave a message on our voicemail, and someone will get back to you. All other calls will be returned on the 28th.

Food Bank Sunday

We would like to start helping our local food bank keep their shelves stocked with groceries for the less fortunate of our community. Next weekend, we encourage you to bring in non-perishable food items for the Charlotte Street Food Bank and leave them at the back of the church.

We would like to make this a regular event, so we will be asking you to bring in donations on the third Sunday of each month.

649 Winners

Congratulations to Jerry Frees, Charlene Roy & Helen Slattery – they split $2,035 as the latest winners of our 649 Draw. Thanks to Stella and Dee Dee for all of their hard work in running the game, and to all who played. The start date of the next 649 will be announced soon.

Lighthouse CDs

There are 16 new titles to choose from on the rack at the entrance of the church. There is also a new catalogue available by the CD rack with more detailed descriptions of all of the available CDs should you wish to special order additional titles. If you do see a title that you want, please contact the office (653-6838 or office@holytrinitysj.com) with your request.

Religious Education

We are required to have baptism certificates on file for ALL Religious Education students (both new and returning) in the fall. If your child will be attending our Religious Education program in September, and you have not provided us with a baptism certificate in previous years, we ask that you do one of the following.

1. If your child was baptized here at Holy Trinity, please call the office (653-6838) and leave your child’s name and date of birth on our voice mail. You can also email the same information.
2. If your child was baptized in another parish, please contact that church directly and ask them to fax your child’s baptism certificate to us at 653-6848.

We would like to thank parents in advance for their assistance.

Committee Members Wanted

Holy Trinity’s Property & Finance Committee is looking for a couple of new people with experience in building and property maintenance or construction to sit on the committee. If you are interested, please speak to Fr. Stephen (653-6842).

Postal Disruption

In the event that the Canada Post labour dispute continues and you need to send any correspondence to the church you are welcome to drop by the office during regular office hours (Family Centre entrance – please knock). If you can’t make it to the church during office hours, you may also drop any documents into the mail slot located on the front door of the rectory. If it is more convenient, you may also drop any documents off at St. Joachim’s. There is a black mailbox on the wall just around the corner from the parish office (located in the upper parking lot as you are going into the main entrance of the church). As always, you may also send bulletin announcements, Mass requests and other inquiries to the parish via email (office@holytrinitysj.com).
