Stella and Dee Dee will soon start collecting again for our 649 Draw. The next draw starts on Saturday, June 11th, with the cutoff date to submit your numbers being Saturday, June 4th. Stella will be at the back of the church after each weekend Mass to collect your $10, or you can call her (652-2565) for more information or to submit your numbers.

Providing that our sign contractors don’t receive any unexpected surprises from the weather or the ground in front of the church, our new parish sign should be up in time for Easter.

While the Diocese of Saint John will not be taking up a collection for Japan, Development and Peace is accepting donations for this cause. If you wish to make a contribution, please forward your donation to the following address:

The next meeting of the Holy Trinity Liturgy Committee will be on Thursday, April 7^th at 5:30pm.

To assist parishioners in preparing for Easter, the 3 North End churches of Holy Trinity, St. Peter’s and St. Pius X are having a combined community penitential celebration, in which all of our parishioners are invited and encouraged to attend. The homilist for the celebration will be Fr. Rolando Suplido of Stella Maris Parish in Black’s Harbour. The community penance celebration will conclude with individual confessions, and there will be 6 or 7 priests present for those who would like to celebrate the sacrament with one of them. Please join us for this celebration Sunday, April 10^th at 2pm at St. Pius X Church.

Congratulations to the students in our Grade 2 Religious Education class who received the sacrament of First Reconciliation yesterday.

The monthly First Friday Holy Hour will take place at St. Joachim’s on Friday, April 1^st from 11am – 12:30pm. The Holy Hour begins at 11am and will consist of exposition, adoration, and benediction of the Blessed Sacrament; concluding conclude with 12 noon Mass. All Holy Trinity parishioners are invited and encouraged to join us as we spend this special time with Our Lord.

The next meeting of the CWL will be held on Tuesday, April 5^th at 7:30pm in the Family Centre.

Paul Foote and John MacKenzie were the latest winners of our 649 draw. They split $2,100, with an equal share going to the parish. As always, thanks to Stella and Dee Dee for their hard work running the game. Our next draw will be starting soon.
