The Parish Council would like to thank all who assisted with Monday’s Memorial Mass. Your efforts were appreciated by all of the families who attended our celebration.

On behalf of the entire parish, we would like to thank the CWL for their very generous contribution towards the new Family Centre floor.

Each year, as Christmas approaches, people think of family members and friends who have died. Many have found our Memorial Tree to be a helpful way of remembering and dealing with feelings of loss during an otherwise happy time. If this is helpful for you, you are invited to print the names(s) of deceased relatives and friends on an envelope and mark it “MEMORIAL TREE”. These names will be placed on ornaments prepared and decorated by the children in our Religious Education Program and the ornaments will be placed on the Tree. While you may also use the same envelope to make a voluntary donation to our Building Fund, a donation is not required. Deadline for submission of names is Sunday, December 13^th.

The annual CWL December Dinner will be held on Monday, December 7^th. Members will gather for Mass at 5:30pm and dinner will follow in the Family Centre. Membership dues of $15 will be collected at this time. CWL members are asked to bring a gift for a child. Please do not wrap the gift – either place it in a gift bag or include the wrapping paper.

The new Parish Council will meet in the near future, and will hopefully add additional members to this new group.

There will be no Religious Education classes this weekend, November 15^th or next weekend, November 22^nd, due to construction in the Family Centre.
