Lay Pastoral Ministry Formation Program

As graduates of the Lay Formation Program we believe that the essential
element of Lay Formation is to focus on the spiritual growth of each
participant in the program.

This is a journey of friendship and prayer which develops compassion for
our own lives and growth in faith formation. Components of the program
include scripture, prayer, history of church, spirituality and social justice.

If you feel called to spiritual growth in such a program, brochures are
available at the door of the church. If you have any questions, please feel
free to ask us in person or by phone.

Parish Phone Number After Hours

If you need to contact Fr. Stephen on the weekend, please don’t call our office line. Despite what it says in the phone book, the number listed for Holy Trinity is the office line rather than the rectory. The office line does not ring in the rectory. As a result, when you leave a message on the office line after hours or on the weekend it is very likely that message will not be heard until the next business day. (e.g., If you leave a message on Friday evening, you likely won’t get a response until Monday morning.) During the evenings or on weekends, if you have AN EMERGENCY or a TIME SENSITIVE matter and need an immediate response from Fr. Stephen please call the rectory (653-6842).

Special Collections

When you donate to one of our special collections we ask that if you are writing a cheque, that you make it payable to “Holy Trinity”. We deposit the proceeds of any special collections into our account. We then write a cheque for the total amount to the Diocese, who forward that money to the organization that the collection is assisting.

Unfortunately, if you make your cheque out to, for example, “Development & Peace”, it makes it difficult for us, or the Diocese, to cash your cheque. We would also ask that you make sure that your cheque is filled out completely, including the date and both amount sections. Our bank will not accept a cheque that is only partially filled out. We apologize for any inconvenience, and on behalf of the organizations benefitting from these special collections, thank you for your continued generosity.
