Christian Meditation
The Villa Madonna hosts Christian Mediation every Tuesday, 10am. Everyone is welcome.
Evening Prayer
All are welcome to St. Alphonsus, Hampton, on Tuesday, September 21st, 7pm.
Seminar
On Thursday, September 23rd at 7pm, an 8-week “Life in the Holy Spirit” seminar begins at St. Peter’s church hall. For information, contact Margaret (635-0311).
Card Games
Friday night card games will be starting on September 24th at St. Pius X. Doors open at 7pm; games begin at 7:30pm. Cost: $3 per person. A light lunch is served and there will be a 50/50 Draw. All proceeds going to the St. Pius X Bereavement Committee. Games will be held on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. All are invited to attend.
12th Annual Rocmaura Gala Dinner and Auction
Fundraiser takes place on Saturday, September 25th at the Trade & Convention Centre. Viewing begins at 5pm. Proceeds will go towards Phase II of their Resident Upgrade Project. Auction items, such as antique furniture, jewelry, china and crystal are still required. To arrange for pick-up of a donated item, or to obtain tickets, contact the Rocmaura Foundation at 643-7090.
Auction
A Live and Silent Auction will be held at Stella Maris on Saturday, September 25th at 5pm. There will be a great selection of items available to help you start your Christmas shopping.
Turkey Dinner
Fall Dinner will be held at St. Joachim’s on Sunday, September 26th, 4-6pm. Cost: Adults $10, Children under 12 $5. Dinner includes dessert, tea and coffee. Take-out is available. Tickets are available at the door, or call 696-1905.
