Easter Schedule

Cindy is about to prepare the ministry schedule for Easter, but she requires your assistance. There is a checklist at the entrance of the church for all those involved in ministries. Would you please take a moment to check off which Masses you plan on attending so that she can ensure the schedule accommodates everyone’s Easter plans.

PAD – Pre-Authorized Debit

We are looking at giving parishioners at Holy Trinity the option of making their Sunday offerings via pre-authorized debit.

What is PAD? It is very similar to automatic bill payments that many parishioners are already familiar with: power, cable, car payments, insurance. Pre-authorized donations made to the church are safe and secure and are handled by our bank.

You authorize the amount and frequency of your offering, which can be changed or cancelled simply by contacting the office.

Confidentiality is extremely important to us when it comes to dealing with your financial information. NO parishioner will have any access to your PAD information. The parish or our bank will not share or use your information for any other purpose.

Just like using a Sunday envelope, you will still get a tax receipt at the end of the year – without having to remember to bring your envelope to church each weekend.

Before setting up this system, we need to know if there is any interest. If you think this is something that might be convenient for you, or you would like more information, please call or email the office. By contacting us, you are under no obligation to sign up.

Catholic CDs

We are proud to present a new educational opportunity: Lighthouse Catholic Media. A practical and effective program to help Catholics know their faith . . . to keep their faith!

We all live busy, busy lives. Finding the time to learn about our faith is difficult. But now, we are able to meet you where you are! Wherever you have a CD player available to you, in the car or at home, you can deepen your understanding and love for the Catholic faith.

At the entrance of the church you will see a stand offering 16 different CDs. These feature some of the most inspiring Catholic speakers — bishops, priests, deacons and eminent Catholic lay men and women. We ask for a donation of $5.00 per CD so that we may continue this program. When these are gone a new set with different titles and speakers will be ordered in. We encourage you to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.

Lenten Coin Folders

The folders will be available at the entrance of the church beginning this weekend. If you choose to use a folder, please don’t feel that you have to fill a folder with quarters; use bills or a cheque if it is more convenient for you. We would also ask that you avoid taping individual quarters. It makes them very sticky, which makes our bank very unhappy. The folders are treated especially gently to ensure nothing falls out. There is also a place on the folder for you to write in the total amount included. As long as you write in the amount, there is no need to worry if a quarter or two become dislodged – you will be credited for the full amount.
